Here Kitty, Kitty!

Good morning! Today I have for you one of the boxes I created for my mom's office decorations for Halloween. I made a series of boxes that include a ghost, pumpkins, and the above black cat all for Halloween! There are a few more on the list for Thanksgiving to work on as well!

The black cat box above uses so many of our fabulous products - starting off with our Curvy Keepsake Box Framelits Die. If you don't have this die set yet, you are missing out! I have had the Curvy Keepsake Box Framelits Die since they came out and I love designing new possibilities with this die! The base for the black cat is simply our Basic Black cardstock cut out and attached together with our Tear and Tape Adhesive. For the mouth I simply pulled out our White Stampin' Chalk Marker and drew in the mouth. The eyes are created using the smallest Circle Framelit Die cut in both Whisper White and Basic Black for the whites and the eyelids then I used some Cucumber Crush through the 1" Circle Punch, only cutting out a small piece. I then did the same with Basic Black cardstock again taking a smaller slit through the punch for the desired look. As far as the nose and whiskers I simply free handed my paper snips for both items and attached everything to my Curvy Keepsake Box using both Tear and Tape Adhesive and the Fine Tip Glue Pen. So much fun with such wonderful products!
