Pals Paper Arts Challenge - Sketch!

I got the chance to play along with the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #257 - Sketch Challenge. Each week the Pals Paper Arts team creates fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in! This weeks challenge is a sketch challenge!
I had such a great time working with this sketch! I got the Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set with my Demo Preorder in May, but I have been too busy to get the chance to really sit down and create a lot with this fabulous new stamp set. With today's sketch I took the time this morning to create and I love how this card came together! I used the tree and flower stamps from the Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set and paired it with the wonderful new Tree Builder Punch to create this scene. I also pulled out the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Pad which is just too much fun to pass on using! I used the colors Cucumber Crush and Pool Party to make this card pop and just to finish it off I added a bit of Cucumber Crush 1" Dotted Lace Trim. This little tree is so darn cute and having a easy way to make clouds in a punch thrills me! Such a fun sketch to play along with to bring all these fun items together!

Ridiculously Amazing!

Good morning! Today I have a fun card for you featuring the stamp set Amazing Birthday! This card was a part of my Stamp A Stack class last month, and the best part of this particular stamp is that although it is included in a Birthday stamp set, it doesn't have to be used for a Birthday card.

I wanted to create an inspiring card for part of my class, and this large sentiment was perfect! I pulled out our wonderful Regals Collection Stampin' Write Makers and colored in this sentiment area by area until I got the desired pattern for the focal point of my card! Then I cut down the sentiment and mounted in on this Perfect Plum banner that I created using our Banner Framelit Dies. I also made sure to add just a touch of our luscious Sahara Sand 7/8" Trim Lace, a fun and delicate touch to finish of this card. I went for a simple layout with pops of color.

Happy Father's Day!

Good morning! Today is Father's Day and I will be spending some of my day with my Dad. I thought I would share a grouping of cards I did one day all featuring the Guy Greetings Stamp Set. If you haven't seen this set yet, I highly recommend it! It's perfect for creating cards for any Guy in your life.

The set above are all cards that I was able to create using cardstock left over from classes and events I have hosted. Whenever I plan for a class I make sure to have supplies for a few extra people, just in case. After class I take all the unused cardstock and separate it by color and size for future classes or creations. For the set above I simply sat down with some containers I keep these pieces in and just started going to town. I made Congratulations and Father's Day cards, all from the same set! I love how I used simply line stamps to make such a variety of cards from the same stamp set. If you have never tried a series of cards using the same stamp set, go for it! It can be so much fun to see everything coordinate together when you complete the process!

Pals Paper Arts #256 - Sketch Challegne!

I got the chance to play along with the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #256 - Sketch Challenge. Each week the Pals Paper Arts team creates fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in! This weeks challenge is a sketch challenge!
I had such a great time working with this sketch! In my last Stampin' Up! order for my Open House at the beginning of this month I ordered the wonderful Host Rewards stamp set Floral Wings and I am simply in love! You will be seeing me use this set a lot, it is just so much fun! I am a sucker for butterflies and if you didn't know Roses are my favorite so having them both in one stamp set was just too much to pass on for me! When I saw this weeks sketch I instantly thought about using the Banner Triple Punch, but then I started to go through my new stamp sets in my head and a light bulb moment went off when I saw the Floral Wings Stamp Set. The vine stamp in this set make is super simple to create linear patterns along a card front. I added the butterflies using my Bitty Butterfly Punch and then tied it off with a bit of the new Watermelon Wonder 1" Dotted Lace Trim!

A Day or Two Late

Good morning! Today I wanted to share with you a card I made for the last Pals Paper Arts Challenge - PPA #255. I am a bit late in getting this posted, so it won't be entered into the challenge, but I just had to share it!

I used the fabulous new You've Got This Stamp Set and paired it with the new English Garden Designer Series Paper. In fact, last weekend I made a few cards with this Designer Series Paper and I simply love it! The watercolor feel to all of these patterns and the soft tone of colors go perfectly together! I also pulled out our wonderful Subtles Collection Stampin' Write Makers and colored in the large flower that comes in the You've Got This Stamp Set. The perfect pair - ink and markers!

Stampin' Pretty Pals Blog Hop - In with the NEW!

Good morning all!  Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for June.  This month we are excited to show off new Stampin' Up! products from the just released 2015 - 2016 annual catalog.  We hope you find great inspiration from the projects.  Get your wish list ready!

You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Martie Pollard at The Crafty Bandit, number 12 on the Pals Hop.  If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.
For today's post I kept going back and forth on what new products to play with and I finally decided to use they same basis of a card design and spice it up a bit with different color combinations and touches. Both of these fun cards use the new 2015-17 In Colors and the new stamp set You've Got This! The first card features Tip Top Taupe, Delightful Dijon and the new Bohemian Designer Series Paper. When I first saw these two colors I wasn't too sure about their addition to the In Colors, but the more I pull them out the more fun they seem to be! I also featured the Banner Triple Punch....amazing! I wasn't sure that I 'needed' that punch, but it is now on my must have items list for this catalog!
My second card uses a similar layout using the same stamp set You've Got This, Tip Top Taupe, and the Banner Triple Punch, but I changed up the papers and ink! I pulled out my Cherry On Top Designer Series Paper Stack, my Watermelon Wonder cardstock and ink, plus this oh so yummy 1" Dotted Lace Trim in Watercolor Wonder of course! Yum! I love the texture and design to this new ribbon! I also used the Banner Triple Punch on the top part of the Cherry On Top Designer Series Paper Pack to give it a bit of a pop.

The next stop is Deb Cozzone at Deb Cozzone's Stamping Zone, number 14 on the Pals Blog Hop!  Thanks for visiting; I hope to see you on next month’s Pals Hop!

A Bit of Awesomeness!

Good morning! We have sun and no rain today which always puts me in a great mood! I love finally seeing some great sunshine again. We have been getting plenty of rain locally and while I the flowers and enjoy the rains, rain every day gets old quickly.

I thought for today I would share a fun card I created using the Big News Stamp Set and our wonderful 2014-2016 In Color Stampin' Write Markers. I used some of the recently retired Washi Tape, and while this particular one won't be available we have a wonderful selection of five fabulous new Designer Series Washi Tapes in the new Annual Catalog.
